Margot had to play single Mom for the week while Daddy was down visiting the Carolina Schomps, Kosters and Sterns (and doing some work at the BMW plant in between - our fuel cell systems are currently helping to build X5's, X6's and hopefully the new X3 soon - powered by our reformed landfill gas). They all survived (except the mouse and the furniture arrangement as we have come to expect) - but wow, what a long week - by all accounts. A rude awakening to 4" of our first snow, but Evelyn can now truly enjoy it as she approaches her 2nd birthday - snowballs, snowmen, snow angels, the works. Fun! Now I just have to relearn her vocabulary that I'd forgotten during my hiatus - but we're pleasantly surprised to see that she'd been holding back on her numbers these last few months - the girl is a counting machine!As for the boy - less spit, but less sleeping now. He did have his 2 month checkup last week and the results were: BIG 97+% height and weight, but small head - didn't inherit the Noordzij noggin..

Brrrr-Glad to see you made it back Nate, but better you than me! Altho I have to admit, you and Evelyn make it look like an awful lot of fun.
So how went the Combobirthday Bash today for Gigi and Evelyn? Hopefully the partying and merriment canceled out the scowls and gnashing of teeth with the Pats downfall... I'l give a call on the Big"E"B'day with the webcam, I hope-love to all, Gramma
