Mother Margot ventured away from her little darlings for the first time for a 5-day excursion to Holland. Evelyn was convinced that she was going for the sole purpose of bringing her back chocolate sprinkles and Hendrik has been Ween'd for over a month now - so Mom/Dad - what's the difference, right? Well, it migh have been stark had it not been for Gramma who came up to shoulder the load - and despite a few bumps and bruises, we actually made some developmental progress in mommy's abentia - H is definitely not walking, but he certainly has taken his first steps - and we can't call E potty-trained, but she does use it here and there - important with the 1st day of preschool starting tomorrow. We're spent though - thank goodness mommy is back stateside to bring it on home and finish the job! (with sprinkles)
And big congratulations to cousin Corey and Jon welcoming Greer last week and Philip and Elizabeth tacking on a 2nd Philip - hooray!
