Just lounging?
or prepping for the Games of the 34th Olympiad in 2028? Evelyn has already watched softball and volleyball with Daddy along with swimming and rowing with Mommy on Saturday - but she may spurn both of us and decide to medal in something less-close to our hearts. It's ok Evie - just as long as the results come out Golden.
And how do you fuel up for all this tough training? Frequently, heartily and often - and now with meat! Sure it's the pureed kind, but protein nonetheless. And at some point over the last few weeks, Evelyn has started converting all those folds of pudge into some serious length - just wish there was some device that could measure how tall she actually is - I smell a patent there.. And now we just gotta figure out how to convert daddy's pudge into muscle, but early indications show it may not be so difficult as it's already quite the workout chasing her down, even though she's not even really crawling yet.
Ben, Jenny & kids had already hit the road, and then Gramma headed back to Mexico last week - but Evie got to meet some new friends! We headed down to RI (again) last weekend to meet up with Kate and Peter who were in town for some clam-cakes and also met the elder Mendillos and Catones at their sweet new house. Then later in the week, Mr Matthew Yoder finally got to meet Ms Evelyn and spent some good QT with the girls on Friday - unfortunately he was not accompanied by preggers Teri, but that will come in September when she's a little plumper!
Also expecting we just found out at Tara and Mike's going away party yesterday - is Margot's old lab-mate Dan, and somehow I forgot to post last month that cousin Philip and Elizabeth are too! This next-generation is really kicking into Top Gear!
