I also chalk it up to the Asahi "Super Dry" that I imported from Japan 8 months ago and finally cracked open before Matsuzaka's crucial Game 3 start -- I'll save one for each of his World Series starts every year for the rest of his contract. Other than that - another perfect Fall Sunday in New England together with the Redskin Reaming and some Leaf Peeping. We took a short drive up to New Hampshire with Margot's parents to see Ana and Duco's new vacation trailer home. Take a look in the Flickr slideshow and let us know how many plots we should buy!
Saturday Margot and I finally got to work on the Baby room together - cleaning walls, painting trim, assembling the crib and building the bureau with the tunes blasting through the house - nice! Question for parents - what to do with the foul-language cd collections? Wherein I used to make up dirty lyrics for clean songs, I now find myself singing clean words to drown out the potty mouths figuring the baby can already hear everything in the womb. Other suggestions?
Friday night, I decided to stop blogging - just gonna let Hollywood continue to tell our story from now on. We saw Gone Baby Gone with Keith and Dulari - another good working-class Boston-area flick like Mystic River and The Departed. It's got it all - the Haitians, drugs, false kidnapping of our Laotian neighbor nephew - you name it. So if you want to see how Margot and the baby will turn out - just watch the movie and picture Helene with little Amanda and you'll pretty much get the picture
