Snow Day!

A fresh 12" up north of Boston prompted me to stick around home today - nice to have a quiet day with the girls after another busy weekend of fun! Gramma Schomp came up for the last time on Saturday before heading back to Mexico and brought Aunt Marian and long-time friend Nancy along with her for a quick visit- and then went to Oma and Opa's again Sunday after officially giving them the beloved ping-pong table where Evie got to hang out with her cuz Gigi!

Unfortunately there were no snow angels, snow forts or snow shoeing today as I had to work online most of the day - but there were a couple major developments. 1 - my neighbor snow-blowed our sidewalk and driveway while we were home. It was a nice gesture, but didn't really lighten my load too much and now I'm forever in debt to him - damn! 2 - Evelyn finally wore something non-pink today after a steady 5-plus week strictly-pink diet. Identity crisis in the making? I don't know, but I liked them yellow duckies!
