Live Free or... Smile!
Gramma Schomp is State-side and spent last week getting reacquainted with sweet Evelyn - I'd say she's changed a bit since the first few weeks! The girls went to the Stone Zoo, the Boston Children's Museum, hung out with Ana, Duco and Gigi at the Cafe and then got to head up to New Hampshire and check out the Mini-Winne with Elsie and Charlie while Uncle Ben records the next great American record album! All while daddy slaved away in his windowless cube.. Fortunately they all taught her a new song that eases the pain - it goes like this - 'da-da-da-da...da-da-da-da' like that old VW commercial. I'm not foolish enough to believe she's singing it all day as an ode to her father, but who's to say she isn't?
Gramma hasn't lost her touch and got Evie gobbling down different foods all week - I think they're both hooked on each other. This baby girl is getting more personable by the day, and looks like her first tooth is finally breaking through. But the big news this last week that we can announce now that the embargo has been lifted is that there's another new cousin in the family - Marianne and Dave brought Finn Michael into the world on Thursday making Phalen the proudest big brother! Congratulations and Welcome!
