Greetings from Sunny Florida!

Just as all the locals complained on our honeymoon in Alaska when it hit 90F, all the Tampa Bayans are up in arms at the mid 60 high-temps down here this week. And they apologize profusely for one of they coldest weeks here in recent memory, but we're thankful we've successfully avoided the single digits back North. Of course our pipes have probably burst in the meantime, but it's probably worth it..

We're taking advantage of Jake and Michelle's Tampa digs this week (and $50plane tickets). Pretty sweet complex on Harbour Island with walkable access to the soon-to-open history museum, aquarium (Rays are our new favorite creature), Forum, ChannelSide Market, Port Authority cruise departures, and Bayshore Drive, UT, downtown Tampa and even old Ybor City a little further a-foot. Nice city - and it's fun watching them prep for SuperBowl and Gasparilla in the weeks ahead. I've got some inside scoops on apartments-for-rent if you're considering coming down!

Evelyn's been enjoying outdoor walks again and getting some fresh air (especially after spending her nights sleeping in Jake's closet) although she's been a little grumpy with even more killer molars coming through. But she's getting plenty of attention from Uncle Jake and Michelle here to comfort and distract her - although we're hoping all the screaming doesn't turn into a permanent deterrent...
