We went for a little snowshoe hike in the Fells last Sunday and it's looking like we'll get to go again today with another fresh 6-10" on the ground. Between that with Evelyn in the backpack and shoveling (I just read that clearing the average driveway moves over two tons of the white stuff) - we're getting quite the workouts so far in this new year..
And with the first full work-week of '09 and some long days at the office, daddy didn't get to see much of his little baby at all for a few days. But wow - pretty shocking now how upwardly mobile she became in that short period. It was pretty odd today as Evelyn was doing laps around the house and you expect to see her on the ground as she rounded the corner as we've so gotten used to - but then you find yourself looking at her feet as she comes trotting around. I'm going to struggle adjusting that head/eye angle upward by two feet!
Evelyn had her first music class this week with mama and in Food News - Evie is insistent upon spooning herself food now even though she's an absolutely terrible spooner. But she's like her mother - there's just no arguing with the girl.
