Evelyn has some new skills to crow about - she has a little spin, wave hands, single clap, fake jump, stomp feet routine that's so cute it makes me hope for a 2nd girl. Well, not quite but I guess I could tolerate another one if she's half as sweet as Evie.
She's also able to walk up and down stairs now holding onto a hand or a railing and has finally mastered the art of fork-stabbing.
We got to run around Fan Pier with friends Mike and Deb in from Chicago on Saturday (sadly without little Sam) before being good tourists and hitting up the Barking Crab, running up the new Rose Kennedy Greenway ($16B BigDig Median), indulging in Mike's Pastry in the North End and cruising Faneuil Hall like good tourists should before it got windy(er) and rainy(er).
It cleared up quite a bit on Sunday and Evelyn got to make her Maiden Voyage on daddy's handlebars! It was a short trip, but how exhilarating - feeling the wind in her (helmet covered) hair and waving to all passers-by - it's gonna be some fun warm weather months!
