We started posting right around Evelyn's equivalent gestation period - and we're slated to head in for the ultrasound this week, so to be fair we may just have to change the name of the blog if the chips fall a certain way. Up until recently maybe I was hoping that this one would turn out differently, but this girl has totally won me over!
So I've also been convinced of this Global Warming phenomenon - this last weekend of April felt positively Summer-like. We were all caught pretty-much off guard with our Spring Collections still dominating the wardrobe and the AC units securely packed away in the basement. It hit upper-80's in Malden on Saturday, but (un)fortunately Daddy was down in RI playing competitive VolleyBall for the first time in 2yrs at a Yankeed tournament with old SK buddies Manne, Scott and Keith - gettin' the crew back together. Us old(er) men surprisingly fared better than the last time we all congregated - we not only avoided embarassing ourselves, but nearly took the tourney crown!
Sunday, Evelyn lent a hand to TJ and I as we installed a trailer hitch on his car in preparation for his departure and long haul. She tried hiding some nuts in his tailpipe to protest his departure, but he caught her in the act. No hard feelings though - we all went out to a dim-sum sunday brunch at the Fu Loon. Pretty terrific, and Evelyn got to practice the Chinese she's been learning every morning between 6:30 and 7am. Ni Hao!

Seriously Nate100, you are awesome. Thank you for keeping my niece on the line for her cousins to keep up with. It is truly a gift for our family; we miss y'all so much!
