Hey Baby

Well even though I missed the opportunity to use the scaling of Mt Washington as a good jumping-off point to get in decent shape (no follow-up to build those quads back) - the ordeal has conditioned me well in other regards. After that weekend spent in near-exhaustion, a rainy weekend chasing Evelyn around the house is nothing! Mix in a walk around town, a trip to REI to get Evelyn all outfitted for a bike helmet, to Oma & Opa's to check on the renovation work and one to Costco and it was just enough activity to keep Evelyn satiated.

In between, Daddy got to head into the city to check out Bonus Round - Michelle and Jacky's band had a gig around the corner from Fenway Saturday night. It was pretty neat/weird driving through Boston during Earth Hour with all the lights off in the fog - anyway - Good show and got to see a lot of the old friends/ballers. Apparently I'm known as the Ghost in the VB circles for disappearing from the leagues and tourneys post-Evie. They took my re-appearance as signs of a comeback until I dropped the news of #2 on its way, but the highlight of the night was that Manne's whole family was at the show - gotta love seeing Rick and Dianne getting jiggy!

So hopefully this rain gets things blooming a little quicker - tired of things looking so dreary still! We do have some flowers popping up in the yard though - purple and white. Odds of Evelyn picking them? High
