And speaking of Momma Margot - it's her final birthday! 29 for real, and 29 forever right?
We had a real special day - I watched the kid in the morning while she got some time to herself (well, tutoring actually) and I took both remaining heels to give her a heel-free tuna sandwich at lunch. To top it off, I let Margot lick the spoon after making her some supa-dupa b-day brownies - wow, what a birthday!
Actually we did head out with Oma later in the day for a little walk and playground action (Evelyn had since forgotten what one does at such a 'play-ground') followed by an all-expenses-paid trip to Sushi Island! True - Margot shouldn't be eating raw fish in her current state, but we've learned it not to be wise to argue with the prego-cravings of the birthday girl - and she enjoyed some unagi, anago and ebi (all cooked) while Evelyn scarfed some tamer seaweed, tempura and maki. Good food and some good table manners - good times!
And we haven't gone out and made a mass-announcement yet of our forthcoming progeny other than right here on the blog, but it's been fun seeing the responses in dribs and drabs from both our core and occasional readers. You all have a little more time to enjoy your special status before we bring the less-deserving into the know - so we need to think of something worthy of our readership to keep you coming back - like a gateway drug. We'll probably drop the gender or preferred names to y'all, but think on it and let us know what you brainstorm.

Vanilla Soy Milk?!?!?!!? Didnt the Schomps pretty much drink heavy cream through high school?
Hey Nate & Margot! Congratulations on the great news! How awesome! I didn't know about this blog until today, and I'm glad I know about it. I now will be able to keep up with the happenings of the Boston Schomps. And Nate, I love your style writing. Very cool. Love you (all 3+ of you), Aunt Marian
