What's New?

Not a huge week activity-wise, so it's time for some developmental updates. Evelyn is:
  • trying her darndest to use forks and spoons (but usually reverts to hand-shoveling when she can't maintain her minimum intake-rate requirements)
  • pushing her baby and stroller around the house and now feeding her with a bottle - so sweet!
  • walking backwards for some reason
  • coloring (scribbling)
  • strong enough to get lifted up holding only onto my thumbs
  • going to be a big sister
  • rhythmically inclined
  • super friendly - saying hi and waving to her friends, sharing her toys with total strangers
  • taking longer big-girl afternoon naps
  • almost able to open doors, but definitely able to close them and lock herself in
So the Great Evelyn got to meet two new friends this weekend as old Rebels Schimmel and Kate came up for a nice visit Saturday to highlight the weekend. Sunday was cold and rainy and Margot feeling under the weather took a nice afternoon nap, which gave her just enough energy to make it through the Oscars - awarding a bunch of movies that we haven't had the luxury of seeing. Looks like Slumdog should be pretty high on the Must-See list?

Evelyn,

Congratulations on being a future big sister!
