Is this normal?

Margot survived the first week on her own! Well not totally on her own - had to dump the toddler on Oma one morning, and we're still getting a couple meals a week from the Mommy's group which helps out big-time! Extra clothes here and there haven't hurt either - Hendrik has been tiring of wearing his sister's old pink wardrobe after he plows through his own, so he (and I) thank all you donors for maintaining some sense of masculinity.
It probably helped out a lot this week that daddy wasn't in the picture to keep mucking up all of Evelyn's 'normal' routines, but her behavioral oddities have subsided some - she's not a total nightmare at bedtime anymore. She is starting to push her limits a bit more though - I think she knows that she can't be yelled at if the baby is finally sleeping (or miraculously isn't spitting up at that moment). We got to ride the choo-choo down into the city and caught the Head of the Charles on Saturday before the snows came. Margot's alumni friends won their old-timers race (Margot had a good excuse not to row this year) and the kids might be hooked on the crew already - National Team here we come!Hendrik has received more new visitors (including Keith& Dulari and Helen and Patsy up from RI!) and everyone agrees - he is serious. Such a look of consternation on the face of the little man: he's not messing around, just making one.
