Thankful!

Whew -what a week, and lots to be thankful for!
Margot and I alternated days in bed with flu-like symptoms last weekend, so we're thankful they didn't overlap as watching Evelyn would have been a nightmare in our conditions. Fortunately we recovered before Uncle Jake and Michelle arrived - so we're thankful they're hearty travelers and didn't jeopardize the SK98 Ten-Year Reunion.
Wouldn't you know it though that on Tuesday we both came down with a wicked stomach bug - so we're thankful that daddy has a wealth of sick days built up and so thankful that Oma and Opa were available to sacrifice their day to watch Evie!

We headed down to the Helen and Michael's for Thanksgiving and were very thankful to see the Galoobs, Wigtons and Friends all gathered for the feast and to meet new little Finn as well!
Then back in Boston - Evelyn went to her first sushi bar on Friday and we were thankful that Jake picked up the bill before they headed out of town.
Thankfully the weather was decent this weekend so I got a nice chance to swap our cars over to winter tires on Saturday.
Unfortunately the long weekend is almost over now, but thankfully I've still got a job to go back to on Monday!
